10 months old today

In 2 short months my princess will be 1, it's hard to believe! :( She amazes us everyday with her love and laughter and we love her so much!!!!

9 months

Rewind to the 14th of October......Kaitlyn turned 9 months old! She weighed 17 pounds, 12 ozs. and was almost 28 inches tall. That put her in the 5th-10th percentile for weight and around the 60-75th percentile for height. She got her flu shot, but didn't have to get any other immunizations so that was nice. Other than that everything was good, it was a pretty uneventful appointment. Her next check-up will be when she turns a year. :( I don't want to even think about that, this year has flown by!!!!!! She is now eating bits and pieces of some table food and does really well with it. She still won't drink from a cup or bottle so it's a bit challenging at times to get fluids down her. She still has just the one tooth, but there are a few more that are super swollen and we can see them getting ready to poke through so any day now! She will also stand on her own for a few seconds, but hasn't attempted to take any steps yet.....she's getting so big! That's about it with her for now.

My bigger bumblebee

8 months old

Well a little late, but my little bumblebee turned 8 months old a few days ago. She is getting to be such a big girl. She's still VERY mobile and stands up whenever she gets the opportunity. She's says "mama" sometimes just "ama" but she's definitely talking about me!!!! She will follow me down the hallway screaming it or pull at my legs so I pick her up. Also, yesterday I noticed that she has her very first tooth coming in. Her 9 month appointment is on the 17th of October so we will see how much she's grown then! :)

7 months

My baby is 7 months old, can you believe it......she's over halfway through her first year of life, I really wish time would slow down these days. She's getting to be such a big girl. She is crawling all over the place and is trying to pull herself up to stand. The other two didn't crawl until they were 9 months old so it just seems like she is doing everything so MUCH earlier. She is talking a lot these days too, she's babbling "babababa" so hopefully that will turn into "mamamama" soon! She's has eaten all of the stage 1 veggies and tried bananas and peaches. Her next check up won't be until she's 9 months old so I'm guessing she's around 16.5 pounds or so.

Eating

Kaitlyn has tried peas, green beans, squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes. She seems to like them all, but is not too fond of the peas. She has also had rice cereal. We will probably start her on fruits here in the next couple of weeks!

Catch up

So I've been REALLy busy lately, but finally have a few minutes to get on here. Everyone is doing well and Kaitlyn will go for her 6 month check up next Wednesday so we can see how much she's grown. She's close to crawling right now and can move all around the house. We gave her cereal for the first time last week, but she wasn't very interested so we will try again here soon. Other than that she's still a pretty happy baby most of the time. She loves to just be on the floor playing with her toys. Kierstyn is doing good and helps me take care of her. She would carry her all through the house if I'd let her. Landen had his 6 year check up the week after his birthday and is apparently the size of a 7 year old. He's tall for his age, so he obviously gets that from his daddy. He's healthy as can be and will start the first grade here in a little over the month! He's still very much into baseball, but his games are over for the season. So here are a few pictures from the 4th of July and then I will try to put a few up from Landen's b-day.
